Adoption: Purchased for $275,000 as a yearling, Basil may not have found his calling on the racetrack, but he is more than ready to shine in a new career where his personality and athleticism can really come through. After knee surgery in January 2025, Basil completed his rehab beautifully and has now been cleared to begin retraining with no limitations to his future. He is feeling great and ready for whatever comes next. One thing we already know is that Basil absolutely loves the trail. He has the best time out exploring and seems to genuinely enjoy getting out and seeing the world, which makes him an especially exciting prospect for someone looking for a fun, versatile partner.
