Currently:  Working on a super solid flat work with some jumping fun! Intelligent, kind, polite and studious, Rivendell has a quiet spirit that often reminds us of a librarian. But don’t let that fool you: he’s got his own motor that will try, try, and try again to get it right. He’s also shown great affinity towards being a jumper. He's forward-thinking, uphill moving, balanced, and clever. He loves jumping and is taking to it happily. Ultimately, he would be a great partner in the Equitation and/or Hunter rings. Given his great self-carriage and natural rhythm, he would also be a lovely Dressage prospect. Rivendell naturally changes his leads on his own in play and under saddle, and we do not doubt that he'll have flying changes perfected when the time comes. Don't let his 16h size fool you. He covers the ground effortlessly and will have no problem making the standard distances.

Spookiness is not an issue. Rivendell is not afraid of anything - he loves hacking out in the field and will go anywhere alone or in a group. He is a happy horse with a puppy-dog personality; more than anything, Rivendell is looking for his best friend.

Because Rivendell is still green over fences and has a prior injury (healed and set), he is best suited for an experienced rider, amateur, or child in a quality training program. Rivendell is sound and has been in consistent work for over six months now.
